The Coastal Bend Home Builders Association Appoints New Executive Officer and Director of Government Affairs
The Coastal Bend Home Builders Association’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Alycia Kasperitis as Executive Officer and Ben Molina as Director of Government Affairs.
Alycia Kasperitis earned her Bachelor’s degree in Event Management and her Master of Business Administration from Johnson & Wales University. She initially joined the Coastal Bend Home Builders Association staff in February of 2022 as the Membership & Events Coordinator. Serving in this role, she utilized her skills in recruitment, retention, event planning, and marketing to assist in cultivating and maintaining a thriving membership. After eight months with our Association, Alycia became our Interim Executive Officer following the departure of former Executive Officer, Wendy Herman. We are confident that Alycia’s education and experience in Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, and Membership/Development will help our organization to thrive in our efforts to provide Advocacy, Networking, and Education to the Residential Building community of the Coastal Bend.
Ben Molina, prior to joining us at the Coastal Bend Home Builders Association, served on the Corpus Christi City Council for six years. During his tenure on City Council, Ben was instrumental in implementing the Vision Zero program, rebuilding Cole Park Pier, introducing splash pads to local parks, and developing a program to repair and maintain the city's streets. He will oversee CBHBA's government relations, advocating on behalf of the home building industry and building relationships with local and state government officials.
The Coastal Bend Home Builders Association, affiliated with the Texas Association of Builders and the National Association of Home Builders, is a voluntary organization of businesses and professionals working to promote positive and responsible growth in the home building industry for the mutual benefit of its members and the community.
